Privacy Policy

Interview Insider (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account: full name, email address, phone number, password (stored as a one-way hash)
• Profile: optional fields such as current company, dream company, profile photo
• Payment: handled entirely by Razorpay — we never see or store your card or UPI details
• Application form: education / work background you submit when applying for a course

Information collected automatically

• Course progress, lessons completed, problems attempted
• Basic device and browser information (for security and analytics)
• IP address (for fraud detection)

2. How We Use Your Data

• To deliver the course content you paid for
• To process payments and issue receipts
• To respond to support requests
• To send transactional emails (signup confirmation, payment receipts, important updates)
• To improve the product through aggregated, non-personal analytics

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Service Providers

We share the minimum data required with the following processors:

• Razorpay Software Private Limited — payment processing (governed by Razorpay's privacy policy)
• Supabase Inc. — database and authentication (data hosted in their secured infrastructure)
• Email delivery, content delivery, and hosting providers as required to operate the service

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage and session storage to keep you signed in and to cache your course data for faster loading. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising.

5. Your Rights

You can request any of the following at any time by emailing hello@interviewinsider.in:

• A copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to legal/financial record-keeping obligations)
• Opt-out of non-transactional emails

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. Payment records are retained for at least seven (7) years to comply with Indian tax and accounting law.

7. Security

Passwords are stored hashed. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Database access is restricted by row-level security policies. We will notify affected users of any data breach within 72 hours of confirmation, as required by applicable law.

8. Children

Interview Insider is not directed at users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
